															Since 1960, Jai Jalaram Hotel has been a place where meals are served with love — and stories are shared with every bite.
Our journey began in 1960, when Thariabhai Bhanushali, with his son Keshavjibhai by his side, opened a small tea stall called Devendra Hotel. It was a simple setup — just tea and handmade laddoos — but there was something special about it. The warmth, the honesty, and the unmistakable taste brought people back day after day. Those laddoos became a local favourite, and the tea stall slowly turned into a place people came to not just for food, but for comfort.
While Thariabhai laid the first brick, it was Keshavjibhai who built the home. He stood behind the counter from the very beginning, working quietly and tirelessly — learning, serving, growing. Over the decades, with patience and heart, he turned that little stall into a full-fledged restaurant, later rebranded as Jai Jalaram Hotel. It was never about business for him — it was about feeding people with care, just like he would his own family.
From morning preparations to late-night cleanups, Keshavjibhai dedicated his life to this place. Every dish, every corner of the kitchen, every returning guest — it all carried a part of him. He ran Jai Jalaram Hotel with the same values he learned at that tiny tea stall: simplicity, sincerity, and the joy of serving others.
Today, the same flame burns bright. His sons now carry forward his legacy, continuing the tradition with the same love, the same recipes, and the same respect for every person who walks in. Our menu may have grown — from Gujarati thalis and Punjabi curries to spicy Chinese favourites — but our heart remains unchanged.
